House Republican leaders plan to tie a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution to their two-step debt-ceiling bill — a move that could help turn momentum back toward Speaker John Boehner’s plan.
So the solution to this self-inflicted crisis is to include a forced change to the Constitution in a bill that has zero chance of becoming law. BRILLIANT!
